W3C announces a new online course on Mobile Web Apps development

Registration is opened for a new edition of the W3C online course "Mobile Web 2: Programming Web Applications". Please check the W3C website to get more details about it. This course is developed by W3C/MobiWebApp (MobiWebApp being a co-organizer of the incoming MOSQUITO events).

Save the date! In May 2012 (29-31), MOSQUITO project partners are organizing two events in Paris:

29 May: workshop on fragmentation and standardisation issues
30-31 May: interop event and HTML5 training conducted by W3C staff

These events will be held in Orange premises in Issy-les-Moulineaux.

Registration to these events is free but mandatory.

First MOSQUITO interop event!

The first interop event organized by the MOSQUITO project is scheduled for July 2011 (5-7) in Beijing, China. It will be focussed on Android testing for both native and web applications. Come and get an unique chance to test your applications on a wide variety of devices and networks.

We had a phone OS on Android 2.3/2.4 called Gingerbread, a tablet OS on Android 3.0 called Honeycomb, and a lot of confusion amongst the community. Eric Schmidt silenced much of that confusion at MWC in Barcelona, saying Ice Cream would merge Gingerbread and Honeycomb… but now we’re learning a great deal more."
