The development of this consortium has been focused on the strengths of each of the partners and the competencies it could bring to MOSQUITO.

This project will affect several kinds of stakeholders (mobile operators, device manufacturers (indirectly), testing laboratory, application developer, content developer, standardisation body and interoperability method specialist) which would address all part of the interest on:

  • Mobile Internet of services as represented by a mobile operator also chairing worldwide groups with handset manufacturer and platform vendors (e.g. Orange-FTGroup also chairing JATAF which is gathering Sony Ericsson, Vodafone, Sun Microsystems and Aplix Corporation).
  • Content and applications as represented by application developer (Media Mobile Agency), and content porting organisation, IBBT and Funanbol, also addressing the Open source communities
  • Technical validation and interoperability as represented by the ETSI (Interoperability Service) and Testing laboratory (CATR).
